Intensive care

The intensive care unit of a hospital is a very delicate department. It is responsible for keeping patients alive who are in a serious health situation, who arrive at the hospital in an extremely urgent condition with one or more vital functions impaired; patients who require a period of monitoring following a complicated operation; or even patients who are suffering from major drawbacks caused by relatively simple or routine operations. In the intensive care unit, patients must be cared for and monitored constantly. The length of stay varies from a few hours to several days and weeks. Therefore, it is crucial that the environment is well lit and comfortable.

In the intensive care unit, doctors must be able to visit and operate under optimal conditions at all times. For this, the light must be bright, intense and ‘clean’. It must not, however, disturb the patient, who must instead be admitted in a cozy and calm environment.

For this medical sector, RIMSA has designed 3 medical lamps, ideal because they can be adjusted to strike the right balance between patient comfort and usefulness for doctors. Doctors and surgeons can adapt the intensity of the light beam to their needs. RIMSA medical lights have the advantage of ergonomic handles and movable arms: features that make them easy to maneuver and quick to set up. The special LED technology of the operating lights guarantees a longer service life, allowing the doctor to focus exclusively on the patient.

For intensive care we recommend these medical lamps:
